Alma May Rundt

Alma May Rundt (nee Piccinini), age 89, beloved wife of Edward L. Rundt (deceased), loving mother of Edward Paul Rundt (wife Karen), devoted grandmother of Maria Rae Rowland (husband Curt), Meghan Swan and David Rundt, loving daughter of Domenico and Emma Jane Piccinini (both deceased).

Alma spent her life in elementary education, even after retirement she continued to work as a substitute teacher and kept up with all the latest curriculums, even reviewing her books her great granddaughters were studying at school. She had a special love of educating children with difficult family lives, making sure they were getting every opportunity afforded to them. Alma also taught Sunday school, even serving as the Superintendent.

Her passions were family, faith and education. She was devoted to her husband Edward, and together, they were devoted to their grandchildren. Any chance they had, they would take them on adventures. They brought them camping, to parks, visitor centers, and introduced them to the beauty of nature.

Family and friends will gather at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND ROAD) at 10 am THURSDAY FOR PROCESSION TO WESTERN RESERVE MEMORIAL GARDENS IN CHESTERLAND, WHERE GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11 AM.
