Andrew L Brown

Andrew "Andy" Brown, age 69, died peacefully in his childhood home in Lyndhurst, Ohio on May 25, 2025.

Andy was born in Columbus, Ohio to Zoe Ann (Behm) Brown and Raymond L Brown. The family moved to Lyndhurst in 1962. Andy attended Bolton Elementary, Memorial Junior High School and graduated from Charles F Brush High School in 1974. He attended Lakeland Community College, then transferred to Akron University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

Following graduation, Andy served his country in the U.S. Army, where he received numerous commendations. Upon discharge from the Army, Andy worked several jobs in the Akron and Cleveland areas, most recently at Acacia On The Greens Condominiums, where he was responsible for maintenance and security.

Andy is survived by his mother; Zoe Ann, brothers Bruce (Lisa), Darrell (Rosemary) and sister Lois Curren (Garry), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ray.

Andy was active in scouting, music and sports. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley.

Andy's ashes will be interned in a private ceremony at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery..

A celebration of life will be held at a future date in July, details will be updated.
