Anthony M DeFranco

Anthony Michael DeFranco, (Tony) departed this life on August 13, 2024 after a courageous and well fought battle with cancer.

Anthony was born March 13th, 1959. He Is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Sylvia DeFranco. He is survived by his loving life partner of 35 years Veronica Kovacic; sisters Janet (George) Gustovich; Julie (Glen) Bricker and Lisa Johnson; and sister in law Patricia Zajaczkowski. Also survived by special friends Dale, Larry, Arron, Lori and Mark. And his faithful canine buddy, Meryl.

Anthony worked for Great Lakes Construction and enjoyed his job immensely. He also enjoyed farming on his 20 acres, loved his land, and maintained cattle. His hobbies were beekeeping, tinkering in his buildings and collecting guns.

Anthony was an independent and unique individual who loved life, the outdoors, and always had a story or interesting fact to share.

Prayers of Christian Burial 11 am Monday, August 19 at THE FIORTTO FUNERAL HOME, 5263 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND ROAD) WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO 11 AM. ENTOMBMENT WILL FOLLOW AT KNOLLWOOD CEMETERY.
