ANTHONY L. SASSANO "WHITEY", age 85, loving husband for 52 years of Mary (nee Croce), cherished father of James L. (Melanie), Karen E. Sassano-Kellams (Jon), Kathryn Sassano and Deborah Buckley (Craig), devoted grandfather of Justin, Jason, Jeremy, Jessica, Aidan, Emma and Grace, loving son of Louis and Carmella (both deceased), dear brother of William (Pat) and the following deceased: Susan, Ernest, Roseanne and Eugene, beloved uncle. Whitey was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending much time with his grandchildren. He was a graduate of Cathedral Latin and John Carroll, and was a faithful member of St. Gregory the Great Church, devoting much of his time to their many activities. He loved to golf, especially with his grandchildren. Interment All Souls Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to gather for Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory the Great Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1545 S. Green Rd., South Euclid, OH 44121.
