Anthony Joseph Frabotta, age 85. A true gentleman, a great man, a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal friend, a proud veteran and union man, and alumnus of Cathedral Latin School, passed away peacefully in his family's arms on August 26.
He was beloved by all and showed nothing but kindness and consideration to those who were lucky enough to know him. He had not an enemy in the world.
He took great joy in simple pleasures: a baseball game on the radio, a walk with his granddaughters, good Italian food. He was proud of his service and often said his years in the military were among the best in his life. He was a lifelong fan of the Browns, the Indians, and the Buckeyes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Helen (nee Ciofani); his loving children Cynthia Hope (husband Doug), Toni Marsh (husband Jim), John (wife Carie) and Bob (wife Elyce); and his cherished granddaughters Anne and Helen Marsh, Morgan Hope, and Gabbi Frabotta. Tony also leaves dear sisters Mary Rose Fisco (husband Bob) and Dolores (Dee) Kaselonis (husband Tom, deceased), sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bob and Adeline Ciofani, and many nieces sand nephews. A brother Augustine (Gus) and his wife Eleanor are both deceased.
Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service in Tony's honor on Saturday September 27 at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND ROAD) from 4 to 6 PM. Online guestbook at www.fiorittofuneralservice.net
