Antoinette Micali

Antoinette Frances Micali, (nee Ricciardi), age 100, was the wife of the late Ralph Francis Micali and loving mother of Richard (Hallie), Jim (Cindy), Nancy Rotatori (Scott), and Philip (Wayne). She has 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, in addition to several nieces and nephews who loved to spend time with her. Antoinette is one of six children of Anna Farinacci Ricciardi and Filippo Ricciardi (both deceased.) Her siblings, Peter Ricciardi, Josephine Crapser, Virginia Haymond, Ruth Liptow and Philip Ricciardi have all predeceased her.

After 12 years growing up in Little Italy in Cleveland, Antoinette was a 1941 Brush High School graduate, and after completing cosmetology school, she was the owner/operator of the Mayfield-Noble Road Beauty Salon. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Clare Church and St. Gregory the Great Church in Lyndhurst and South Euclid respectively. Antoinette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In her professional and personal life, she demonstrated a strong work ethic, unwavering faith, and willingness to always lend a helping hand. She was very proud of her family and loved to cook for them. Some of her specialties were her tomato sauce, cheesecake, and coffee cake.

Antoinette was equally proud of her work and involvement in volunteer activities in her community, demonstrating her immense generosity. She loved visiting her extended family in Denver, Colorado, and Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where her maternal grandparents and cousins emigrated to America from Gildone, Campobasso, Italy.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO GATHER FOR MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 11 am SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 AT HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 12021 MAYFIELD RD., CLEVELAND, OH 44106 WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL SATURDAY FROM 9:30 TO 11 AM.

Interment 2:15 pm Monday, October 2nd, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 30 N Main Street, Rittman, OH 44270
