Barbara Lois Bambic

Barbara Lois Bambic (nee Antos), age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 8, 2025. Born August 25, 1941 in Cleveland Ohio to Lukas and Rose Antos (nee Synk, both deceased). Shortly after graduating from Holy Name High School, she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth “Ken”, and they spent 50, very happy years together, traveling and enjoying their children and grandchildren before his passing in 2010. Her hobbies included traveling, playing bingo, rummy and rummikub, crafting, attending flea markets to shop for her favorite collectibles, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the keeper of all the family birthdays and important dates, and was known for her yearly birthday cakes for those she loved. In her later years, though she struggled with her health, she always kept a positive attitude and a rosary in her hands, praying for everyone she loved. Her family is overjoyed that she is reunited with her husband Ken and son Keith in heaven. She is survived by her sons, Kenny (Flo) and Kurt (Mindy), daughter-in-law Victoria Bambic, siblings, Doris (Frank, deceased) Oravets, Luke (Jean) Antos, and Karen (Mark) Chmielecki; grandchildren Heath (Natalie) Bambic, Malissa, Alan and Kevin Bambic, and Kourtni Bambic (Brian Poole); great grandchildren Jacob, Jailyn, Ilyanna, and Mila Bambic, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and good friends. She is also survived by long time companion, John Salerno, daughter-in-laws Paula Bambic and Kelly Richards, and dear neighbor and friend Sherry Paciorek. 

Family and Friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 18th at ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH 6850 MAYFIELD ROAD, GATES MILLS, 44040

Private inurnment will be at a later date, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman (Seville), Ohio.
