BETTY HENSCHEL

BETTY HENSCHEL (nee Hamilton) age 88, passed away July 13, 2016. Beloved wife of Bill. Loving mother of Steve (Gail), Barb (Bob), Judy (Joe) and Kurt (Susan). Cherished grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 12.

Betty and Bill met at Muskingum College and were married at the end of their junior year. They would have celebrated their 68th anniversary in August. Betty was an elementary school teacher and a long-time member of Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church. She loved to sing in the choir and helped start LCPC's preschool (now Child Enrichment Center) with Mary Prentice, where she taught for another 18 years. Her love and care for children was her passion. She also volunteered at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital for many years.

Family and friends are invited to gather for memorial Services 11 am Friday, August 5 at Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church, 5312 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, 44124.
