Bonita "Bonnie" Quagliata

Bonita "Bonnie" Quagliata (née Stefancic), of Highland Heights, Ohio, passed away at home peacefully on September 14, 2026 at the age of 84. Dearest former spouse of John Quagliata, Devoted mother of Angelo Quagliata and Antoinette (Toni) Quagliata (husband Kevin Karwowski), Beloved daughter of Caroline (nee Kosoglov) and Anthony Stefancic (both deceased). Dear cousin to the Anthony (deceased) and Mary Kosoglov family along with many extended family members and dear friends.

As a devoted mother, cousin, aunt, friend and daily coffee confidante to her former spouse, Bonnie was kind and fun-loving with a contagious laugh and an unmistakably huge smile who brought warmth and energy wherever she went.

In addition to  supporting the family business earlier in life, Bonnie devoted more than 25 years of her career to the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, where she managed the school lunch programs. Her retirement years brought enjoyment in the sun of Marco Island, Florida which led to her love for the Marco Island Senior Softball League, where she enjoyed scorekeeping, camaraderie and friendships that came with it.

She will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but for the laughter she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her smile may be gone from the room, but the joy and laughter she brought into so many lives will remain forever.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, September 23 at St Mary of the Assumption Church 15519 Holmes Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110 followed by Entombment at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST, Oh 44124 (East of Richmond Rd.) TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2026 FROM 3 TO 8 PM.
