Carmella Jilek (nee Reali)
At the age of 91 years, Carmella went to be with The Lord on October 1, 2020.
Beloved wife of Albert Jilek (deceased) and Harry Gergotz (deceased). Mother of John, and devoted children Julie and Jeffrey Gergotz. Grandmother of Jason and Eric Gergotz. Daughter of Angelo and Elvira Reali (both deceased). Sister of Joseph Reali, Virginia DiVincenzo (deceased), Margaret Toth (deceased), Norma Nasant, Florence (deceased) and Diane Lupica.
Along with her beloved husband Albert, Carmella enjoyed an active role in The Fraternal Order of Eagles/Bedford Aerie 2122. Carmella brought exuberance to the elected roles of President and Mother to the FOE Women's Auxiliary.
In keeping with Carmella's wishes, there will be NO VISITATION. Interment Knollwood Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills.
