Carol spent her career working for AT&T until her early retirement. Her great love was for her family, but her love for animals surpassed average affection! Carol got great joy in watching her dogs participate in conformation in the show ring and also in the dog sport of "Fly Ball". (A fast paced relay race with teams of dogs, maneuvering hurdles and triggering a box to release a ball). Her ability to connect with her dogs was a gift. Her love for animals prompted her to travel to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 to help rescue animals. Carol, to no surprise to her family, came back with 3 puppies and a kitten. She also was involved with the GRIN organization (Golden Retrievers in Need).

Her nieces and nephews will always remember Carol as the most generous and fun loving Aunt with a fiery personality. They always had fun around her and she spoiled them rotten! Always athletic growing up, she would jump into any game going on as long as she could participate. Carol was very proud of her Italian heritage. She loved her big Italian Family, the closeness, and the food they all shared. Carol was loved and will be missed by so many. We take comfort in knowing her pups and family members were there to welcome her home.
