CHARLES R. CROWE, 85 of Hinckley, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born March 20, 1930 to Charles and Susan (nee Petkosh) Crowe in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was CEO & President of Koch Engineering Co, Knight Division. His job allowed him to travel the world, and he made many life-long friends along the way.
He loved building Bluebird houses and Grandfather clocks. He also volunteered for Junior Achievement at Brunswick Schools, and was an active member of the Healing Hearts.
He loved the beautiful home he built for his wife, Mary, and especially riding around on his tractor.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Agnes of 57 years, his parents Charles and Susan, his sisters Gwen, Betty and nephew Jim.
He is survived by his loving daughters Cathy Buynak (Mike), Connie Wallace (Timothy), Grandchildren Michael (Natalie), Matthew (Chris), Melissa (Nate), Lauren and Emily (John), and seven great grandchildren who gave him great joy. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
There will be a private family ceremony. A special celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, please make a designated donation in his name to the Brunswick Education Foundation, 3643 Center Rd, Brunswick, 44212.
