May 14, 1932 — October 31, 2020

Charles "Charlie, Chuck" Edward Kuehn, 88
May 14, 1932 – October 30, 2020
Bedford Heights, Ohio
It is with much sadness we say goodbye to our Partner, Father, and Friend.
Partner of the love of his life Jeanne M. Shupe (nee DiGeromo); father of Robert A. Kuehn; father-in-law of Anita C. (nee Settepanella) (formerly Loy) Kuehn;
brother of Alan Kuehn and the late Lawrence Kuehn; son of Charles Kuehn and Evoma Patterson (both deceased); stepson of Betty Kuehn (deceased);
step-grandfather of Michelle E. Piercey (nee Loy) and Christine C. Lowe (nee Loy); former husband of the late Carol A. (nee Dutchcott) Kuehn Mrowca;
step-brother of the late Tom, Phil, and Jim Herringshaw.
It was an honor to know and love this kindhearted and caring gentleman who gave tirelessly of himself, supporting causes he believed in as well as helping those in need both human and animal. Charlie was a great humanitarian who early on planned on enlisting in the Peace Corps with Carol when a surprise family blessing arrived, beginning a loving family life. An avid Boston Red Sox and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Charlie loved to attend spring training in Ft. Myers and games at the "Horseshoe" in Columbus. Charlie graduated from Cleveland State University and rose through the ranks from meter reader to Programmer to Corporate Senior Analyst at the East Ohio Gas Company where he met his loving partner Jeanne. Charlie's accomplished technical and managerial skills were highly sought after across the tri-state network of parent company Consolidated Natural Gas. In recent years Charlie loved to while away the days working in the yard or sipping coffee and reading a good book / New York Times with Jeanne and their cat companions at favorite spots including Ft. Myers, Cape Cod, and Bedford Heights.
God has called Charlie to His side and we are blessed to have known and treasured his love for us, and he will be deeply missed.
