Charles J Papotto, Jr

CHARLES J. PAPOTTO, JR, age 93. Born June 6, 1931, passed away at his home April 17, 2025.

Beloved husband for 68 years of Antonietta (nee Frate). Loving father of Linda King, Robert Papotto (Eileen, nee Rees) and Steven Papotto (Cathy, nee Reidel (deceased). Devoted grandfather of Christopher and Anthony King, Brianna Leighton (CJ), Maria Perrin (Jaiandre), Alyssa Papotto and Tommy and Jimmy Papotto. Great grandfather of Elise Leighton. Dearest son of Charles Sr and Nancy (both deceased) and brother of Peter (Beatrice) (deceased). Uncle and great uncle of many.

Charles was a graduate of St Thomas Aquinas East High School and Barber College in Cleveland. He shared his barber skills with family and friends and retired after a long career with the Bailey Meter Company in Collinwood and Wickliffe.

Charles proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflct.

He enjoyed bowling, golf and watching Cleveland sporting events in his spare time.

Interment All Souls Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Wednesday at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, 44040. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 4-8 PM TUESDAY.
