Connie Cogan (nee DeMichael) age 77 of Twinsburg, Ohio returned to Jesus after an honorable battle with cancer in the comfort of her home with family by her side on September 19, 2021.
She was born in Cleveland on April 28, 1944 to the late Benjamin and Florence DeMichael (nee Morato), married to the late William Cogan on April 23, 1966 and sister to Thomas (deceased) (Barbara), Paul (Barbara), Denis (Adrianne), and David (MaryAnn).
Connie exemplified an undeniable love for life and children as she lived her life to care for her 9 children and 19 grandchildren. She continued to show this love as she took joy in working as a nurse aide and special education aide in the local school systems. Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling and cruising with family and friends to countless destinations. Though she is no longer with us in the physical sense, she will continue to be loved and cherished by family and those whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her children Michelle (George), Michael (Tanja), Kevin (Beth, deceased), David (Jennifer), Stacie, Andrew (Brittany), Matthew (Melissa), Amy, and Nicole Berquist (Michael). Her grandchildren Alexander (Grace), Thomas, Brooke, Skye, Brandon, Haley, Benjamin, Hannah, Ethan, Andrew II, Jaxon, Piper, Pru, Alexis, Gracie, Sarah, Jace, Addison, Liam, Michael Jr., Mia, and Nina.
Interment Private. Family and friends are invited to call for Memorial Visitation THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 5:30-7:30 PM.
