Daniel J. Dodson

Daniel John Dodson "Danny", age 44, of Boca Raton (formerly of Lyndhurst) died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Born April 8th, 1977 to Margaret (nee McNall) and the late Thomas Dodson. Dearest brother to John and Michael. Nephew of Jack, Jim (deceased), Jerry (deceased), Bill, Jeff McNall (Marge) and Dave McNall (deceased). Cousin of Cory McNamara (Patrick), Kelly McCrone (Tom), Erin, Heather Pappalardo (Tony), Eileen, Bill (Chelsea), Jeffrey McNall (Michelle), and Jennifer Becker (Doug), and eleven grand nieces and nephews.

A friend to so many.

Danny was a 1995 graduate of Gilmour Academy. For the past 16 years, Danny has worked in the roofing industry in South Florida.

He was an avid sports fan. He coached basketball, baseball and softball and was the Athletic Director for St. Clare.

He loved the Browns and Notre Dame Football. Even though he lived in Florida, Danny prided himself on staying current and connected with all of his family and friends sporting events.

Dan will always be remembered for his smile and infectious laugh. Danny was a kind soul and was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. Danny will be deeply missed.

Interment All Souls Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Tuesday at The Church of Saint Clare, 5659 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 3-5 AND 6-8 PM MONDAY.
