Daniel Joseph O'Brien

Daniel Joseph O'Brien age 79 of Cleveland Heights, passed away on Friday, April 28th, 2023.

He was born on August 4th, 1943 in Cleveland to the late Thomas and Agnes O'Brien.

Daniel was a very loving husband to Judy A. (nee Di Vincenzo)  and a fun, loving and caring father to his 3 children,

Daniel Jr., (Denise), Tracy Krumroy (Bill) and Thomas (Ginger). He was a very loving grandfather to his 7 grandchildren,

Stephanie, Dominick, Nick, Rachel, Gia, Natalie and Jessica, and one great-grandaughter, Luna.

Daniel was the youngest of 9 siblings. Dear brother of Marie Bovitt (Tom) (both deceased),

Margie Anderson (Andy) (both deceased), Tom O'Brien (Helen) (both deceased) Anna Mae Cosko (George) (both deceased),

William O'Brien (deceased) (Teresa), Pat Horacek (deceased) (Ron), John O'Brien (Carol), and

Kathy Gyongyos (Marty) (both deceased).  He was a wonderful and "Life of the Party" uncle to all of his many

nieces and nephews.  Daniel will be truly and deeply missed by many, but one special person who has been

there by his side along with his wife is his loving sister-in-law Shirley Gorze`  (Lou, deceased). Also his

brother-in-law Ernest Di Vincenzo (Joan) will miss him deeply as well.

Daniel was a proud Veteran, serving as a Radar Man for the United States Navy. He served on the USS Mississinewa and

also USS Newport News Ships while with the Navy.

Daniel had a long career as a driver for Hillside Dairy. He retired from there after 34 years. His pastime hobby that

he loved the most was golf. He loved to play whenever he got a chance, especially with his brother-in-law Lou.

Daniel will be missed by many!  Especially by "his Bro" Rick Benntt.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Friday May 12 at St. Gregory the Great Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish,

1545 South Green Road, South Euclid, OH 44121.
