DELLA FIEDLER

Della Marie Fiedler (nee Jones), age 89 years, of Auburn, OH, formerly of Maple Heights, OH passed away on November 30th, 2015. She lived at Aurora Manor for the past 2 years. Prior to that, she lived at her daughter Jeanette and son-in-law Bob's peaceful, beautiful home in Auburn. She was the daughter of the late Silver and Mary Jones.

Della was born in Snow Hill, WV on March 31, 1926. She moved to the Cleveland area following high school, and married Ernest Fiedler. Surviving family include their children Ron, Gloria (Barry) Leven, and Jeanette (Bob) Paschal, as well as grandchildren Chelsea Leven and Brody Leven. Other surviving relatives include brother Darrell (Candy) Jones and sister Wanda (Danny) Martich, along with many extended family members. Della was preceded in death by her husband Ernie, and son Casey. She was also preceded in death by 8 siblings.

In Della's later years, she authored a book entitled "Silver's Titters." The book chronicled her life growing up in rural West Virginia in the 1930's. The authoring and publishing of her book gave her, as well as family and friends, great pride and joy. In lieu of a service, her loved ones will carry her ashes, along with her husband's and son's, to their resting place on a lovely hillside in West Virginia, near her parents.
