Delores "Dee" Boswell was a vibrant woman who loved family and friends unconditionally. She loved her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren with all her heart. Dee made a difference in many people's lives in everything she did, especially through her teaching and guidance at Cuyahoga Community College and her numerous volunteer efforts. She worked for social justice her entire life and her love and compassion reached those in need, including even strangers she would encounter.
Known for her contagious laugh, Dee believed humor, laughter and fun were a vital part of being human. She was a devoted Unitarian Universalist who helped found the East Shore Unitarian Church in the 60s, and has been an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cleveland for almost 40 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher, greeter at the door, coffee pourer- a fixture at the church. Dee will be missed by many.
Family and Friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service 5 pm, Friday, April 8, at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland, 21600 Shaker Boulevard, Shaker Heights, OH 44122, followed by a reception in Dee's honor.
Dee always said "Send flowers to the living," so in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory suggested to the ASPCA, Alzheimer's Association or Crossroads Hospice.
