DIANE M. BURNS (nee Guarnera). January 5, 1947-February 9, 2016. Devoted daughter of Leo and Frances (nee Giangiobbe) (both deceased). Beloved sister of Sharon Guarnera. Dear niece of Antoinette Conte, Sandra Capone and Rose Giangiobbe. Dear cousin to many.
Diane was dedicated to her work as a Social Worker with Windsor-Laurelwood Hospital. She was a lifelong supporter of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and of the Humane Society. It brought Diane joy to rescue dogs in her free time.
Entombment Lake View Cemetery. Funeral Services 10:30 am Saturday at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E. OF RICHMOND RD), WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL SATURDAY FROM 9:30 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE..
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to one of Diane's above mentioned charities.
