She devoted herself to raising her two children. She loved to travel with her sons and attended all their sporting events and theater productions. During the holidays, Dolores would cook elaborate meals for family and play countless board games, taking great pride in maintaining her home and she loved to entertain. Dolores was a devout Catholic, an avid bridge player, a great dancer, admirer of Broadway musicals, and an Indians baseball fan. Some of her favorite hobbies included doing puzzles, reading mystery novels, and big band era music from her youth. She also enjoyed living part of her life in New Orleans with friends and family. People affectionately called her "Dolly", and enjoyed her mischievous behavior.
