Donald J Esmond

Donald J. Esmond, age 97, beloved husband of Janet (nee Kulas), dearest father of David (Julie) and dear grandfather of Elizabeth. Retired illustrator from General Motors, Terex Division. During WWII, Don served in the Air Force 26th Photo Recon Squadron in the South Pacific. Don organized reunions for both his Collinwood High School's 1942 class and his Air Force Squadron for many years. He was an avid photographer and watercolor painter. He loved golfing and scored two holes-in-one. He spread joy and laughter wherever he went and was a fun guy who will be missed by many. The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve and Governor's Village for their kind and considerate care.
