Dora A Rice

Dora A. Rice (nee Loyer), age 74. Beloved mother of Larry Rice Jr (Karen), Dr Nicholas Rice (Peggy) and Jill Rice Robinson (Paul). Cherished grandmother of Jane and Hannah Robinson. Best friend of Janet M Briggs. Dear sister of George Loyer (Carol) and Harold John Loyer (dec)(Paula). Devoted aunt of John Jacob Loyer (Dina Martire), Lida Sosinski and Andrew Loyer. Dora was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, the last 20 of which were at The Cleveland VA, where she retired as the Head of Risk Management. She received the WIngs of Excellence Award for distinguished Federal service. A published author in Nursing, her research was used by the CDC to generate guidlines for Infection Control. Interment Lake View Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service 11 am Saturday at The Lake View Cemetery Wade Chapel.
