Eloise Taylor

April 22, 1927 — June 19, 2020

Eloise Hickson Taylor, age 93, resident of Mayfield Heights passed away peacefully on June 19th 2020.

She was the Daughter of John Jacob and Inez Shaw Hickson, and sister of Ralph Hickson. She is proceeded in death by her husband Roy B. Taylor. She was survived by her son John C. Taylor and his wife Kelly (Germ). Her granddaughters are Amanda Regner (Tom), Alli Weybrecht (Nate), and Ashley Taylor, and great grandson George Weybrecht. Eloise was also a loving step-mother to Howard Taylor (Sandy), Kenny Taylor (Nancy) and Scott Taylor (Susan). Eloise is proceeded, in death by her partner Russ Kaplin.

Eloise was a proud alumni of Ohio Weslyan University and Francis Payne Bolton school of nursing before embarking on a long, loved career in nursing. She loved to travel and did extensive travel over the years. She was also a proud member of Eastern Star and Chapter Two. She was Director of Nursing for Cuyahoga County and became the Supervisor of school nursing. Eloise was also involved in her community of Mayfield Heights. She was a proud member of the Mayfield Heights Mayors Advisory Board for many years and was awarded a Resolution (2006-77) for her service on the Mayfield Heights Commission on Aging from 1980 to 2006.

Interment Acacia Memorial Park. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst (E of Richmond Rd) Saturday June 27th, 2020 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with a service to follow at Acacia Memorial Park, 1880 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Hts, 44124.

Social distancing will be observed at both visitation and cemetery. Visitors are required to wear a mask. During visitation we will only invite in a certain number of guests at a time for everyone's protection. You may experience a wait time to enter the funeral home.
