EVELYN OZINGA (nee Heinz), age 92, passed away September 3, 2018 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord after a brief illness. She was born October 13, 1925 in Willoughby to Henry F. and Alice Heinz. A homemaker and talented artist, Evelyn painted in both oils and watercolors. She taught Sunday School, enjoyed sailing, loved golf, was a long-time skier and for a time raised and showed Arabian Horses. She was the beloved wife of the late Tice, loving mother of Cheryl Harshall (husband Tawn) of Butler, PA, foster mother of Cynthia Bauer Ward of Lombard, IL, George Bauer (wife Mickey) of Strongsville, devoted grandmother of Tami D'Amico (husband Tony, deceased) of Painesville Township, Holly Farwell (husband John) of Eastlake, John Ozinga (wife Tanya, deceased) of Sharpsville, PA, Aaron Ward (wife Jenna) of St. Louis, MO, great grandmother of 7 and mother-in-law of Vickie Ozinga of Painesville. She was preceded in death by her son Douglas Ozinga, sisters Eleanor and Alice and her brothers Milton, Lester, Emerson, Laverne and Henry.
