Frances Zeleznik

FRANCES ZELEZNIK (nee Modic), age 92, Beloved mother of James Modic (Ella), Sylvia Campbell (Ken, deceased), Dorothy Modic (Karol), Louis Modic (Robbin), Veronica King (Thomas), and Katherine Modic Bradley (Michael), passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2021. Frances was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Ohio. Frances enjoyed playing bingo, watching wrestling, baking, crocheting, cooking, traveling and family gatherings, she also liked sweets and a good cup of coffee. Frances loved to sing and in her youth was a member of the choir at St. Vitus Catholic church. She had a great sense of humor and wit. Frances was a generous, strong and loving woman. Frances supported many charities but was especially fond of St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Frances was preceded in death by husbands Louis Modic and Frank Zeleznik, and infant son Anthony. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery located at 10000 Miles Ave Cleveland Ohio at 2:00pm on Saturday December 11th, 2021. Following interment, a celebration of Frances's life will be held at daughter Kate's home. All are welcome to attend.
