Gaetana "Tanina" DiBlasio

Gaetana "Tanina" DiBlasio (nee Costantino), age 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18 with her sons by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Vittorio DiBlasio, dearest mother of Michael DiBlasio and Rudy DiBlasio, dear sister of the late Vita Vecchio, and the late Raimondo Costantino. Loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many in the USA, Argentina, Italy, Australia, and Germany.

Tanina was born in Vizzini Sicily, her family immigrated to Argentina in 1947, where she met and married Vittorio (from Italy), and then immigrated to the USA in 1962.

Tanina had a love for cooking, gardening, flower arranging and fashion. She retired as a tailor from Higbees/Dillards. She enjoyed traveling often to Buenos Aires, Argentina to visit her brother and sister and their families. She was a member of the Maria SS. Della Difesa Club.

Entombment Knollwood Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Tuesday at Saint Francis of Assisi Church. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 4-8 PM MONDAY.
