GENNARO (JERRY) Di STAULO passed away on June 22, 2016 with family by his side. Born in Montorio nei Frentani, Italy, on September 8, 1928 to Celestino and Rosa Di Staulo. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Josephine (nee Maiorano) and his children Charles (Christine Alfidi) and Michelle (Victor) Magazine, Grandfather of Anna, Alex, and David Di Staulo; and Anthony, Dominic, and Regina Magazine, Brother of Antonio "Tony" (Aida Maiorano), Michele "Mike"(Frieda), Rafaelo (deceased), and Nicolina Greco (deceased), Uncle of Rosemarie Taylor, Anthony, Larry Burgess, Roxann DeSantis, Rene Bolton, Mark, Michael, Mario and Marietta Wallace. He emigrated to the United States in 1949 and later founded Di Staulo Landscaping in Cleveland, Ohio on the philosophy of "quality work is the best advertising." He lived and embodied the American Dream. He was a member of the Kalena Club, Little Italy Retirees, and of the Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council 310. He was a man of faith and a devoted family man who was proud of his grandchildren's many accomplishments. He was an avid gardener whose green thumb could grow anything; including the pride of his garden, his fig trees. A man with a heart of gold he fed many from his garden, employed many, and inspired many. He loved traveling, playing bocce, and sitting back and sharing a glass of his homemade wine with family and friends. He has left behind a rich legacy for generations to follow.
