We bid farewell to a woman whose life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, resilience and boundless compassion. Born on august 16, 1931 in Tipton County, Tennessee just outside of Memphis, TN. She attended Tennessee State University, known as Tennessee A&I for one year and ran on the Tiger's women's freshman track team.
Several years later she made her way to Cleveland, OH and worked as a secretary in downtown Cleveland and later became a certified home Health Care Aide. She embraced the roles of mother. As a grandmother, she was the family matriarch who painted the canvas of our family with vibrant hues of joy. Her home was a haven filled with the aroma of delicious meals and echoes of laughter.
Hattie was a storyteller, recounting tales of times gone by, imparting wisdom that transcended generations. As a mother, she navigated the intricate dance of parenthood along with Norman Spagnolo that had a blend of strength, tenderness and discipline. Her sacrifices were the silent threads that stitched the fabric of the family's upbringing.
Hattie was a pillar of support, offering comfort during life' storms and celebrating triumphs, no matter how small. Through the years, she embraced life's challenges with a quiet determination, leaving an incredible mark on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the values she passed down and the unconditional love she so generously gave. In her departure, we mourn the physical absence of a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother but we celebrate a life well-lived...A life that continues to resonate in the cherished memories we hold dear. May Hattie find eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely shared.
