HUGH ROBERTS DANIELS, III "Danny", age 73, entered into Heaven Sunday, February 7, 2016. Danny was born in Cleveland, OH on August 19, 1942 to Hugh R. "Junie" and Rosalyn Dorman Daniels. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cynthia Olson Mackey, her son Patrick Mackey (Aimee), three daughters, Heidi Ann (Jack Bernard), Joy Elizabeth (Brion Burcham) and Erin Jean Stamolis, his grandchildren, Houston, Camryn and Griffin Burcham, Ella and Tess Stamolis, and Emmalyn Mackey, his siblings, Anna Marie Daniels (deceased), Michael (Victoria), Mary Beth Clifford (James), Cornelius (Kathy), Katherine "Katie Lou" Musarra (Nicholas), 21 nieces and nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and too-many-to-count friends. Special mention to his life-long and best friend, William "Billy" Gibbons, Esq. Danny grew up in the Collinwood and East Cleveland neighborhoods, was a 1960 Shaw High graduate, moved to Columbus, OH, married and raised his daughters. He was a devout Catholic, an avid Browns fan, and enthusiastic but admittedly terrible golfer, and passionate volunteer for many organizations, charities and hospitals. Danny's 'larger than life' personality attracted people everywhere he went. His love for mankind was astounding, the expression 'to know him was to love him' was so applicable. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. John of the Cross Church, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, OH 44143, followed by a Celebration of Danny's life at Katie and Nick Musarra's home.
