James M Buckley

James "Jim" M. Buckley, age 86, passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2025. Loving husband of Marilyn (nee Howard, deceased). Dear stepfather of Kathy Letizio (Dan, deceased), Kris Smith, and Jim Smith (Susan). Beloved grandfather of Brandon Smith, Marissa Smith (Ariel Hoage), Kelsey Letizio (Keanu Hallowell), and Halle Mahoudo (Erwan). Great grandfather of Emercyn and Addison Smith. Jim was the treasured son of Michael (deceased), Geraldine (deceased), and stepson of Julie (deceased) Buckley. 

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and the University of Dayton. He spent several years in Australia as a member of the Marianists (Society of Mary) religious order and was deeply spiritual and kind. Upon his return to Cleveland, for many years he worked at and eventually retired from Orange High School. He was an avid gardener and sports fan. Jim will be dearly missed but remembered always in the hearts of those who loved him.

Prayers of Christian Burial 11 am Saturday, April 26, 2025 at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST, OH 44124 WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL SATURDAY FROM 10  - 11 AM. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
