JOHN P. ENGOGLIA, age 69.

Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of John (Tina), Matt (Rachael) and Tara Catalano (Robertto). Devoted grandfather of Matthew Jr, Mikey, John, Sonny, Dominic and Sal. Dearest son of John and Eleanor Engoglia (both deceased). Cherished brother of Marianne Bordonaro (Chuck) and Mark Engoglia. Uncle of David Perrier and Steve and Natalie Baranyk.

John's father and uncles owned Engoglia's Bakery in the old neighborhood for years. John continued to bake the family recipe for family and friends after the bakery's closing. John recently retired from Sidari's wholesale foods division where he was always known for treating his clients right and keeping them smiling. John also liked to bartend at various party centers around the area for fun.

Dad was known for his bread recipe but here is his life recipe...Dad is like a fine spirit....Bring him to a get together and he'll be the talk of the party. Spend some time with him and you'll be guaranteed to smile. Spend a lot of time with him and you'll likely be in trouble!!!

Interment Knollwood Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday at St. Paschal Baylon Church. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 3-7 PM THURSDAY.
