KATHELENE JACOBS

Kathelene Jacobs, age 88, of Painesville Township, passed away at home on November 25. She was born February 16, 1927 in Swiss, West Virginia to Ruby and Manning Justice.
Kathelene worked for Ohio Rubber until her retirement in 1991. She was an exceptional quilter and loved spending time with family and friends.

Kathelene is survived by her children; Susanne Woodbury, Marianne Slattery (Tom), Julie Wiley, Jackie Mohrbacher (Dale) and grandchildren; Jimmy Slattery (Katie), Melanie Grussenmeyer (Joe), John Slattery (Natalie), Megan Cammack (Anthony), Jay Wiley (Stacy), Luke Slattery (Amanda), Jade and Scarlet Chesbrough. She was the great-grandmother of Joey and Gemma Grussenmeyer, Sammy Cammack, Brenden Slattery, and Robin Slattery.

Kathelene was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; mother, Ruby Karr; sister, Mary Snell; half-sisters and brother, Stella, Inez and Ernie.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 1 at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (6330 Center Street, Mentor) at 11:00 immediately followed by a funeral service at noon, officiated by Rev. Michael Goldfuss. Burial will be in the Mentor Cemetery. Arrangements by Fioritto Funeral Service.
