Lisa Hall

Lisa Hall (nee Richey) succumbed to a brief illness at the age of 48 on September 14.

She is survived by her 8 year old twin daughters Aliena "Laney" and Anastasia "Zsa Zsa" and their father Alex Hall, parents Jim and Donna Richey, and sisters Jamie Richey and Kimberly Meyer.

Lisa was born in Euclid in 1975 and attended school in Mentor, graduating from Mentor High School in 1993. She went on to graduate from Ohio University in 1998 with a degree in Linguistics. She worked many years for the Coca-Cola company while living in the Cincinnati area and several years for the Lexi-Comp/Wolters Kluwer company in Hudson.  

As a youth, Lisa was in baton groups and marched in many parades. She ran hurdles in varsity track, played varsity soccer, was a member of the flag corps with the Mentor High School marching band, played clarinet in the high school orchestra and was a member of the National Honor Society.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Angelina and Walter Zygadlo, and Kathryn and Myron Richey. Lisa learned to crochet from her grandmother Angelina, and crochet and crafting became one of her favorite lifelong activities. Lisa loved family gatherings with her entire extended family including her brother-in-law Patrick Meyer, nephew Owen Meyer and niece Paige Meyer, Uncle Bill and Aunt Marlene Perdan and cousins Scott and Erica, mother-in-law Jennie Ostendorf, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lisa loved her children, instilling in them her enjoyment of music, movies, and games. For her part, she especially loved the music and culture of the 1980s. She was a vegetarian who loved to cook and often took her daughters to farmers markets.  She also liked to visit garage sales each week with the girls to find fun items for them and was an avid Browns fan.

Lisa will be missed by many for her loving nature, quick wit, and great laugh.

Burial Private. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME 5236 Mayfield Rd, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 4-8 PM Wednesday.
