Lucene J. Andreano

Lucene J. Andreano (nee Prybil), age 93, beloved wife for 69 years of Carl S. (deceased), loving mother of Kenneth Andreano (wife Rose), Judith Andreano (husband Peter Sullivan, deceased) and Carla Krebs, devoted grandmother of Matthew Sullivan (Kristen), Hannah Basch (Brandon), Collin Krebs (Morgan), Patrick Sullivan (Janelle) Tori Fahrenkamp (Nate), Marissa Voiers (Ryan), Jack Sullivan (Grace), Spencer Krebs (Luisi), Calli Krebs (Sam), cherished great grandmother of Charlotte, Greyson, Zoey, Faye, Theo, Caleb, Rory, Griffen and Tommy, loving aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. 

Lucene was the Valedictorian of her 1951 graduating class at Holy Name High School, and Carl loved to tease her about that. She had a professional singing career, appearing at Musicarnival, where she performed with some of Broadway’s top-notch singers. She studied music at the Hruby Conservatory of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music. After she graduated from Kent State University, she began a 19 year career teaching in the Bay School System, and was their first teacher when they launched their Gifted Program. While out with friends at Lake Plata in Twinsburg, she met her husband Carl, and they shared 69 beautiful years of marriage until his death on October 1st. She continued her love for singing, and performed the Ave Maria at her children’s, grandchildren’s and other family weddings. 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO GATHER FOR PRAYERS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 12:30 PM THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2026 AT ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY, 32789 DETROIT ROAD, AVON, OH 44011.
