Lynne Bartel Taylor

Lynne B. Taylor (nee Bartel), born November 28, 1948, passed away at the age of 69. Lynne is survived by her son Derek (Kristen) Taylor and daughter Brittany Taylor, and sisters Susan (Olaf) Rekowski and Donna (John) Tretock. Dear Aunt to Justin Rekowski, Chelsea (Jarred) VandeMark, Kelly (Ron) Cherni, John Tretock and Jill (Eric) Girad; and cousins Garry O'Neil and Wayne (Ann) O'Neill. Preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Wayne and Sylvia Bartel.

Lynne, a self-proclaimed rebel and rule breaker, was a graduate of Brush High School (class of 1967). After attending Kent State University, she traveled the world as a free spirited, fiercely independent, tender-hearted adventurer. She loved travel, nature, animals, sunsets, reading and music, especially The Beatles (John Lennon) and Eric Clapton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Lynne's memory can be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL). Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, November 2 at Fioritto Funeral Home at 5236 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst (E of Richmond Rd).
