Once upon a time, in Chesterland, there lived a woman with a quick wit, an adventurous spirit, and a tendency to stay just a little busier — and more spontaneous — than anyone expected.

She had a gift for showing up exactly when someone needed her most, often appearing on a friend's doorstep simply to brighten their day.

She was endlessly curious about people, stories, history, and the world around her. To know her was to be asked thoughtful questions, pulled into unexpected adventures, and reminded that everyday life still held a little magic.

She was happiest outdoors — feeding the birds and finding joy in a well-mowed lawn, with one of her many Lyman labs by her side. She had a knack for making something out of nothing, and she loved a good game, from word puzzles on her phone to bridge matches with friends. In typical fashion, she baked an apple pie on a whim and came home from the Geauga County Fair with a blue ribbon - but not without first having a bite.

Her next adventure continues beyond us, but she remains deeply loved and missed by her daughters Martha (Mike) and Jennifer (Shawn), her grandchildren Ben (Rachael), Ryan, Cooper, Brianne, and Michael, and her great-grandchildren Charlotte and Clare. She is also remembered by her extended family and many friends, and her beloved KT (Kubota tractor).

She is now reunited with her husband Keith, her brother Jack, and her parents. As an avid genealogist, she is surely delighted to at last meet the many family members she spent years researching, documenting, and writing about.

We will miss you dearly—Ann, Mom, Gramiabob, Aunt Ann, and Great Grandma.
