MARIA ANGELA BARAN "Mary" (nee LaMalfa), age 92, passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 19, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Julius, loving mother of Michael, Mario and Maria, dear daughter of Joseph and Angelina LaMalfa (both deceased), cherished sister of Fred LaMalfa (Millie) (both deceased), Mike LaMalfa (Loretta) and Santina Shamrock (Edward, deceased), devoted aunt of 5 nephews and 3 nieces and their beautiful children.
Mary was honored for her unsurpassed work ethic at Rite Aid (formerly Gray Drug), where she worked and retired after 53 years of service. She was the highest-ranking student and Valedictorian of her graduating class.
Interment All Souls Cemetery. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO GATHER FOR MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10 A.M. THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2019 at ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH, 6850 MAYFIELD RD., GATES MILLS, OH 44040.
