Marie T. Chinnici (nee Moser), passed away peacefully on December 8. Beloved wife of Carl (deceased), loving mother of Patti Fioritto (Tom), Pamela Chinnici-Good (Kerry), and Deborah Hrobat (Richard); devoted grandmother of Carleen Stumpf (Dan), Michaela Foraker (Ryan), Angelina Clark (Ross), Anna Fioritto, and Ashley Howard (Sam); loving great-grandmother of Juliana Stumpf, Myla Foraker, and Korbin and Kinsley Howard. She was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Mary, dearest sister of the late Frank Moser, Rose Dinse, Hilda Moser, Robert Moser, and Kathleen Ilkka, and loving aunt and friend of many.
Our Mom married the love of her life when she was only 19 years old! Their love and devotion to each other was never ending. We were blessed to always have their love, guidance, and support as a close-knit happy family. Mom was fiercely protective of those she loved. She was feisty, quick-witted, and set high standards for everyone.
Mom loved her family and friends more than anything and truly enjoyed when we were all together. Everyone gathered at their house. She loved to entertain, always with an elaborate menu and décor. Her favorite pastime was shopping, especially for jewelry, clothing, and shoes! She was always the glamorous and fancy one!
For 20 years, Mom shared her love of education and children as a dedicated Teacher’s Aide at Roosevelt School and Board Member of the Mary Mavec Opportunity School of Euclid. Mom and Dad were actively involved in the Independent Order of Foresters for many years, with Mom taking on the leadership roles of Chief Ranger and Recording Secretary, and they made many lifelong friends.
We are forever grateful for the compassionate and loving care our Mom received from the kind and devoted caregivers at Governor’s Village and Hospice of the Western Reserve. Their unconditional and constant support to us has been a true source of comfort.
