Marie D. Di Geronimo

Marie D. DiGeronimo (nee Popadak)

Age 93 years young.  With her son and daughter at her side, Marie passed away on Sweetest Day, October 15, 2022 reuniting with her Beloved husband for 63 years, Dr. Mario O. DiGeronimo (deceased). Loving and devoted mother of Celeste DiGeronimo Sena (Matt) and Gregg DiGeronimo.

Cherished and loving Grandmother of Dominic, Dante, Dane and Delaney DiGeronimo, Elizabeth, Toni (Matt) and Daniel Sena.  Great Grandmother of Hunter, Zoey, Chase, Theo, Jensen, and Sera. Dearest daughter of  Maude (nee Cochran) and John M. Popadak Sr. Dear sister of  John (Lois), Jim (Darlene) Popadak.   Dearest Aunt and Cousin to many.

Marie dedicated her life to being a wife and mother.  She served on the PTA when her children were in school. She cooked dinner for the Orange football H.S. Team on Friday nights for four years. Her devotion to her husband and children was exemplary.  She was an active member in the Red Hatters Society and Garden Club serving as President and other leadership roles.  Most recently, Marie served on the social committee and writer for the newsletter at the Weil’s Assisted Living in Chagrin Falls. Marie’s exuberance was a lesson and gift to all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO GATHER TO CELEBRATE MARIE'S LIFE ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12 FOR  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL AT 10 AM AT ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH, 6850 MAYFIELD ROAD, GATES MILLS, 44040, WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 9:30 UNTIL TIME OF MASS. A RECEPTION WILL FOLLOW.
