MARILYN T. BUCKLEY (nee Howard), age 79, beloved wife for 44 years of James Buckley, cherished mother of Kathy (Dan, deceased) Letizio, Kris Smith and Jim (Susan Sheehan) Smith, adoring grandmother of Brandon and Marissa Smith, and Kelsey and Halle Letizio, loving great grandmother of Emercyn and Addison Smith, dearest daughter of James and Mary Howard (both deceased), treasured daughter-in-law of Michael and Julie Buckley (both deceased), caring sister of Christine (Chuck) Wiegand, fond aunt, dear cousin and kind, compassionate friend of many.
A graduate of the former Regina High School, Marilyn proudly lead the reunion committee for years, and was a retiree from the former Ohio Bell Telephone Company and Notre Dame College. She was an active board member of the St. Gregory The Great/Sacred Heart of Jesus Women's Guild where she organized their annual Christmas Giving Tree for charity.
Marilyn was a kind, loving, generous woman who touched the lives of many, and will be sorely missed.
Interment Knollwood Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory the Great Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
