Marina A Paynther (nee Marotta) March 25, 1962 - June 24, 2020

Marina was a loving and wonderful friend to others, always encouraging and uplifting. She was a force to be reckoned with. "A rule breaker", as she said. Her charm, generosity and loving heart to others will always be remembered. There will always be only one Marina.

Beautiful and strong wife of her devoted and loving husband, Eric Paynther for 23 years. She was stepmother to Jen and Blake Paynther. Family meant everything to Marina especially her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved father Anthony Marotta, sisters Andrea Marotta and Alicia Linihan. Survived by mother Marian Marotta, brothers Anthony "Chip" Marotta (wife Laura), Michael Marotta (wife Natalie) and sister Monica Quinn (ex-husband Terry Quinn). Mother-in-law Jewel Paynther, and brothers-in-law Brian Linihan, Keith Winn (wife Debbie) and Kevin Paynther and Sister-in-Laws Veneatra Paynther, Robbi Paynther and Lynda Paynther. Aunt of Tara, Alexandrea, Rita, Mariana (deceased), Grace and John Quinn, Margaret, Elizabeth, Brendan and Mary Linihan and Johnna, Isabella and Sophia Marotta, Michael, Dominic and Katie Marotta.

Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Family and friends invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Tuesday at St Francis of Assisi Church 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, 44040. Friends may call at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 5-7 PM MONDAY.

Social distancing will be observed at the Visitation and Mass. Visitors are required to wear a mask. During Visitation we will only invite in a certain number of guests at a time for everyone's protection. You may experience a wait time to enter the Funeral Home.
