Mario Ferrando

Mario Ferrando, age 84, beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Wilson), loving father of Joseph (wife Sarah) and  Laura (husband Gregg Evans) Ferrando, devoted grandfather of Gianni, Carlo and Santino Ferrando, Silvia and Solomon Evans, loving son of Carlo and Maria Ferrando (both deceased), dear brother of Adele Sabo (husband Ed,deceased) and the following deceased: Ida Rossi (husband Alberto), Lucia Fasano (husband Vincenzo), Alfonsino Amicone (wife Fortunato), Joe Ferrando (wife Maria), Nick (wife Maria, surviving), Rina DiFranco (husband Antonio), Tony Ferrando, and Filomena Ferrando, loving uncle and great uncle of many. 

Mario honorable served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Business Management. He owned and operated a sandpaper manufacturing company for many years, and in his retirement started a liquor importing company. He was very involved with Boys Town of Italy and was generous to several charitable organizations. Mario especially enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. Funeral Services 10:30 am Saturday, September 26, 2026 at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND ROAD) WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2026 FROM 4 TO 7 PM.
