Born in Cleveland, Marion died peacefully in Morris Plains, NJ, at age 94 with her daughters Ellen and Anne (Michael) Horchak by her side. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 53 years, Edward, son Eric and sister Karen (Lonnie) Cowger. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by brother Jan (Susan) Lindberg, grandson Eric II and daughter-in-law Barbara.
Always caring for others whether as a career registered nurse in hospitals or at Case Western Reserve Health Center, or as loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Marion loved reading, traveling throughout the USA, Europe and Israel; solving crossword puzzles in a flash and in ink, watching Jeopardy; and volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Trinity Cathedral and the Shaker Hts. Health Department. Known for her expert needle work be it dressmaking, knitting beautiful sweaters, treasured blankets or elaborate needlepoint creations, and especially for her infectious smile and always positive outlook.
Memorial service June 2, 2017 at 10:30 AM, Trinity Cathedral, 2230 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Interment at 2:00 PM, Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Rd., Mayfield Hts, OH.
In lieu of flowers Marion requested contributions be made to Trinity Cathedral or to Music and Art at Trinity Cathedral.
