Mary Kay Bossard (nee Kociancic), age 73, Beloved Wife for 47 years of Donald J., devoted loving Mom of Donald (wife Aiko), Kevin (deceased) and Robert (wife Julie, deceased) Bossard, and Laura Tomba (husband Patrick), cherished loving Nana of Maria, Alisa, Dylan and Priscilla Bossard, and cherished loving Grammie of Amelia, Arthur and Gus, great grandmother of 11, loving sister of Anthony F. Kociancic (wife Gail), dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mary Kay was a child model for Halle's Department store in downtown Cleveland. She cherished her faith, praying the Rosary almost daily and having a special devotion to Mary, even having a May Altar devoted to the Blessed Mother every May.

Mary Kay worked at The Cleveland Clinic for over 40 years as a respiratory therapist, and then took on many other roles and responsibilities, among which she was a nationally acclaimed Asthma educator. She was well-known and made many life-long friends through her career. Mary Kay was a founding member of Asthma Educators Association. In 2003 she was awarded the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Division of Education, Allied Health Educators Award for "Diactic Instructor", for outstanding enthusiasm, exemplary teaching skills and continued commitment to education. After working at the Clinic for 42 years and 8 months, meeting her husband Don there, she was a large part of The Cleveland Clinic family until her retirement in 2017.

Mary Kay was a wonderful wife and protector of her husband who has Parkinson's Disease for many years, and she was an advocate for him and for all Parkinson's and Melanoma patients.

Most of all, she loved her family, doting on all of them for the holidays, buying special presents and enjoying the fun of it all. She loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren  - the oldest grandchildren called her Nana and then the younger ones came along and called her Grammie! She enjoyed baking for them all and they will always remember her great hugs and treats such as her 'Grammie Cinnamon Bread.'  If you knew Mary Kay, you had to know what a huge Cleveland Indians Fan she was - Chief Wahoo all the way! She enjoyed the Browns but loved the Indians.
