Mary Wetzel

Mary Ann Wetzel (nee Kusner), 85, of Beachwood, Ohio and formerly of Lyndhurst, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2018.

Born on October 21, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Michael and Mary Kusner, Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was the beloved wife of the late Karl J. Wetzel for 29 years. Mary was an avid reader, who also enjoyed bowling, where she met Karl, spending time with her friends and family, caring for her pets, and traveling. Mary was a graduate of John Hay High School and worked for over 40 years as an office manager for a number of local companies.

Mary is survived by her loving son Karl Robert (wife Jennifer); and her six grandchildren, Morgan Ann, Jillian Grace, Allison Jane, Benjamin Robert, Jack Joseph and Luke Andrew Wetzel. Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Kusner, Michael Kusner and Christine (Kusner) Clemens and her daughter Karen Ann.

Memorial Visitation at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) 5-7 FRIDAY, SERVICE AT 6:30.

The family suggests that in lieu of sending flowers contributions can be directed to Catholic Charities in Mary's name.
