Michele N Salvatore

Michele N. Salvatore, born on March 22, 1925, in Utica NY, passed away on February 2, 2018.

Mike was the beloved husband of Elaine Salvatore (Deceased 2014). Loving father of Cliff (Tammy), Donna (Rishi, deceased), Karen (Cliff). Loving grandfather of Brian, Jamie, Brittany (Fiancé Shawn), Ryan. Loving Brother of Yolanda Oberlander, Rosemarie Wagner, Julia Wagner (deceased).

Mike served in the U.S. Navy during WWll and Korea. He attended Fenn College on a GI Bill and graduated with an electrical engineering degree. Mike worked at Dow Chemical, Republic Steel and NASA where he retired at 72. Mike traveled all over the United States with his wife and several trips to Hawaii where she was born. Mike was able to travel to Italy, Ireland, Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach with his kids and grandkids. He loved to visit his daughters in Chicago. Mike also enjoyed golf, tennis, and exercise class at local senior centers.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 17 at THE FIORITTO FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD) FROM 2-3:30 PM, FOLLOWED BY A SHORT PRAYER SERVICE AND MILITARY HONORS.
