Norma A. Rasoletti (nee Koberna) age 101, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2021. Beloved wife for 69 yrs. of Julius E. (deceased),
Loving mother of Elaine Chorich (Louis, Jr.) of Dublin, Ohio, Ronald (deceased) (Kay), Robert (deceased) (Nancy), William (deceased) (Vickie),
Adoring Grandmother of 6 and Great-Grandmother of 9. Daughter of John A. "Jack" Scarpete and Emily Koberna both deceased.
Sister of Lenore Geller (Albert) both deceased. Dearly beloved Aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
At John Hay High School, Norma was a member of the Comptometer Team, placing 3rd in a National Commercial Schools contest. She enjoyed marching in the band with her clarinet and playing classical piano. She was a longstanding member of the Czech Society of America (Cesky Den #219) where she held leading actress roles in their performing arts program. She was employed by the National Acme Company where she met "Julio" the love of her life. They raised their four children in Cleveland Hts. and together enjoyed many years of ballroom dancing and closely followed the Cleveland sports teams. Norma worked in the Networking Dept. at The Ohio Bell Telephone Company and retired from AT&T in 1985. Her giving nature echoed as a volunteer at the local food pantry.
Norma lived a loving and faith filled life, never taking it for granted. Her joyful spirit touched so many lives, especially her family that she loved so much.
She was a founding member of the Altar & Rosary Society of Christ the King Church and was currently an active member of Our Lady Chapel at Gilmour Academy.
Family and Friends are invited to gather at 9:45 am for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Our Lady Chapel at Gilmour Academy, 34001 Cedar Rd. Gates Mills, Ohio 44040. Internment at Calvary Cemetery.
