Olive Pearl Armfelt (nee Williams) "Nana" to many, a long-time resident of Northeast Ohio, passed away December 29, 2016 following a brief illness. She was 81.
Olive was born January 22, 1935 in Kittanning, PA to Mabel and LeroyWilliams. She married David Armfelt in 1952 and they moved to Cleveland that same year.
She retired from Armfelt and Associates in 1988, a business her and husband David took over from Walter Armfelt (David's Father) in 1963. They spent much of their retirement years traveling the world, from canoeing the Zambesi River, relaxing in lake Como, trekking thru Australia & New Zealand, exploring in Alaska and spent many winters on Maui. When she was not traveling, she was busy spoiling her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Olive was known as that person who would love you unconditionally, and never judge you. She welcomed friends and family into her home, always with a smile and a hug. She will be missed by the many people she touched throughout her lifetime.
Olive is survived by her; children Mark, Jamie and Todd (Patricia); Grandchildren, Heath, Lizabeth, Gabrielle, Zachary, Jesse, Sidney, Cody, Chodd & Seth; great grandchildren Hank, Nash, Bo & Millie, brothers, Donald Williams (Arlene), Wallace Howser (Colleen), James Howser and sister Colleen Lawson (John) She was preceded in death by David, her husband of 58 years, her brother Leroy, and her mother Mabel.
