Mayfield Heights

Pauline M. Fioritto (nee Giovinazzo), passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of Victor (deceased), loving mother of Tom (Patti) and Frank (Catherine), cherished grandmother of Anthony "Tony" (Michelle "Micki"), Christine Wolfe (Keller), Mario (Katie), Victor, Francesco "Frisco", Michael (deceased), Ashley Howard (Sam) and Anna Bunch (Bailey), loving great grandmother of Hannah, Riley, Cameron, Natalia, Michael, Hunter, Hattie, Ameliyah, Korbin, Kinsley and Siena. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Rose Giovinazzo (both deceased) and was preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters; James (Shirley), Rose Cataldi (Frank), Anthony (Doris), Dominick (Tootie), Phyllis (Ed), Bernardo (Margie), Catherine, Patrick (Patricia), Ferdinand (Kathleen) and Rocco (Mari Beth), beloved aunt,  great aunt abd friend of many.

Pauline was born in New Jersey and raised in Philadelphia. She started working at 16, sewing Catholic school uniforms. At 20, she eloped with Vic, and moved to Cleveland. She worked at a variety of jobs, including food service at Hawken School, assembling Mr. Coffee machines, and cleaning houses. With her Murphy's Oil Soap, she became the "Pristine Queen of Clean."

Pauline loved to cook. As one of 11 children, she learned at an early age to prepare meals in large quantities, and they were as delicious as the were bountiful. Everyone loved her pizza, wedding soup, sauce, stuffed eggplant, chicken tenders, pizzelles, cinnamon rolls, homemade cookies and more. She generously shared her recipes. Pauline was always busy, enjoying gardening, crafting, crocheting, playing cards, visiting the casino and a little Bailey's Irish Cream along the way!

Pauline had great faith and trust in God. She loved her family and friends fiercely, and showed it the way she lived. Everyone was important to her and she took every opportunity to be with her loved ones. She loved to babysit and entertain, and her door was always open to stop in. She had strong beliefs and spent her life showing and telling others how it should be done......Hers was a life well spent!
